HOLY SHIT! I ACTUALLY
DID THIS!!! This is my very first post, and I wouldn’t have done it had
I not been bored to tears and a certain somebody suggested it to me. I
guess I should say what I did today (or in my case, didn’t do). I slept
until the hour that is roughly noon, but such is the case when I don’t
get to bed until 4 in the AM. I felt like being lazy today and
therefore didn’t do much. I watched the Cubs game and then nearly got
physically ill at the way they blew that game. Motherfuckers! Nomar is
great and all, but without an upgrade to the bullpen, they wont
get very far.After the game, and after dinner and all that shit, I decided I should
rent a movie. So, off to Hollywood video I went. I rented Gus Van
Sant’s latest movie, Elephant. It was pretty much a movie about the
Columbine shootings. Sure, it techincally wasn’t based entirely on
Columbine, but, jeez, close enough. It was a very good and sad movie. I
watched it because I wanted to know why they did it, why 2 kids would
do something so awful. I watched it for the same reason why I watched
American History X, which I watched because I wanted to know how and
why people become racist. The thing about Columbine is, even though it
took place only 6 years after I got out of high school, it was totally
a different world to me. Times had changed so much in those 6 years
that I was out. Damn.Anywho, I don’t expect many people to actually read any of my postings, but I hope you enjoy it if you do read it.
