  • Man, even though this was only a 4 day work week, it seemed to never
end. The training class was more of us socializing, although, amazingly
enough, we are right where we need to be. Maybe she factored in us
bullshitting a lot. The other guy in the class is really interesting.
He is 54 years old, and we all can just listen to his stories forever,
if you can believe that. He was, like many people his age, in Vietnam.
Anywho, he took the time at work to create some sort of computer link
with all of our training materials in it. It was very time consuming,
and he did not need to do it, but did it anyway. He would work on it in
between calls. Anywho, the IT department wont let him use it. He just
wants to share it with everybody. He doesn’t want any recognition or
even a promotion. He has just 5 years and 5 months until he retires and
said that he would be happy just staying in this same position the
whole time, but I think the IT department feels threatened by him for
    some insane reason.

I did nothing tonight except watch tv. The Bulls game was entertaining,
especially since they won. I also watched some program on the history
channel about presidents. I found it interesting, although I might be
    the only one.

This weekend is the 20th annual Cubs convention. I have always yearned
to go, yet have never had the chance. This year there is much talk
among the fans, players, and management about the whole Sammy Sosa
saga. The ironic part is that Sammy doesn’t want to be back, the GM and
manager don’t want him back, most of the players don’t want him back,
and the fans don’t want him back, but because of his contract, they are
stuck with each other. I still haven’t given up hope of them trading
him, but I know it is highly unlikely at this point.

  • I feel I do a lot of bitching about the Christian right, but never
offer much to help promote diversity and tolerence. That being said,
here is a site that promotes tolerence and to be accepting of
everybody. It basically represents all that I stand for, so check it
    out.

  • I just came across this story, here is the link

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/4190699.stm

I guess the crazy ass Christians are saying that Spongebob promotes
homosexuality in this video. Will it ever end? Why must they come down
on anything that might teach tolerence and unity to kids? Promoting
homosexuality? Yeah, right. We have a whole promotional video out, just
call 1 800 JOIN US to get a copy of the video? Don’t have a way to
call? Thats ok, because you can just watch our half hour infomercial
playing on any channel but FOX News. And for those of you that are
close to joining, you can come to our seminar coming to a town near
you. We will have fabulous speakers, such as Tinky Winky, Bert and
Ernie, Waylon Smithers, Priscilla, Queen of the Destert, Mike Piazza
and J Edgar Hoover. And be sure to check out our “Gay Makeover” tents.
And if you are still not convinced that gay is not the way for you,
then get a “Gay Flu Shot” on the way out, it will have you singing
“Ring Ring Ring goes the Trolly”, watching Will and Grace, and flirting
with your mailman in no time. Plus, if you CHOOSE to be gay right now,
we will also send you this rainbow carrying case free at no charge.
Join now so that you can live a life of ridicule and discrimination
only to find yourself in the fiery pits of hell as the good, better
than gay Christians stare down from Heaven.

  • So, today is the worst day of the year, as President Shit for Brains had his inauguration
today. Everybody knows how I feel, so I don’t see the need to go on
about it again. Lets just hope that he doesn’t do as much damage in his
second term as he did in his first. Another positive too, is that if
today is the worst day of the year, its good that we got it out of the
way early, that way we don’t have to spend the rest of the year
wondering when it is going to be.

We had a lot of personal talk again today in the training class. I
don’t mind it so much, but I really want to make sure that I learn
everything and not be so clueless as I was last time.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love Oreos? I’m convinced that they
are the best cookies in the world. This lady at work, her husband works
for Nabisco and she had a whole case of free Oreos at work, and I have
been munching on them all week. Even though they are the Christmas kind
with the red filling, they were still very good, as I have yet to meet
an Oreo I don’t like. Although I really like Chips Ahoy, Famous Amos,
Keebler’s El Fugde (I think my mom used to sleep with the Keebler
elves……….how else to explain how all of her kids were
short…………oh, thats right, my dad was short too), and those
other kind, Oreos are my fav and will always be my fav. Anybody want to
disagree? Because, we can get into an all out cookie war, complete with
me trying all sorts of cookies as part of the cookie war trial, in
which the Cookie Monster would be the judge, with the Keebler Elves,
The Teddy Grahams, and the Cookie Crip Cop all serving on the all
cookie jury. Oh, who am I kidding? The trial would never be completed,
as I would eat the jury.

  • Well, thats it. The Bulls 7 game winning streak is now over. Oh well.
It was fun while it lasted. Time to start a new one. The thing is, they
have played a lot of easy teams lately, and still have a few easy teams
coming up. Hopefully, they can pick it up again.

Today I was in another training class. This one is going to last the
rest of this week and all of next week. There are just 3 of us in this
class, so I might actually learn something this time.

There was this author on the Daily Show last night. His name is Jim
Wallis and the  book was called “God’s Politics” and he is an
evangilistical preacher. Although I very rarely agree with religous
types, this guy made a hellva a lot of sense. He says that the right
gets it wrong and the left just doesn’t get it. Basically, he was
saying that the right looks at gay marriage and abortion as big moral
issues, but he says that the homeless, the war in Iraq, and the
environment are bigger moral issues, and you know what, he is right. I
was always very bothered by these so called conservatives that put the
false threat of gay marriage over the real threat of the war in Iraq.
Regardless of your stance on gay marriage, how can banning something
that is already illegal more important than the death and destruction
of a bullshit war in Iraq? How can any so called “good Christian” be
more appalled by gay marriage and abortion than war? It doesn’t make
sense. Getting back to the book and the author, he says that God is
neither Republican or Democrat, which I completely agree with, yet for
some reason, both sides, especially Republicans, believe that God is on
their side. Shit, the Republicans think that they speak for God!
Although I don’t know this guy’s take on gays or gay marriage, I found
his core belief, that peace is more important, to be something I agree
with 100%. I have included a link to his site here:

    http://www.sojo.net/

Check it out. I shows that not all Christians are hellbent on fighting
gay marriage, but instaed find other things to be more important.

  • Today at work our computers were down for most of the morning……….made for a very very busy afternoon.

I’ve really got nothing, so I guess I will take questions from the audience now. You in the back, do you have a question?

In case you didn’t hear, the question was “When will I ever do
something about that 10 pound goyter on my back?” Well, I can answer
that one: The same day you do something about that odor coming from the
mid section of your body. Next question.

I will repeat the question “Do I think Barry Bonds is on steroids?”
Well, I think its fairly obvious he is. I mean, his body is completly
mis shappen. His arms are the size of his legs. His head, the size of a
beach ball, and his penis? Well, lets just say he compensating with a
    bigger bat.

The next question is “Who do I think will be winning Oscars this year?”
Well, lets just say Vin Diesel and Heather Graham better not get their
hopes up. Also, something tells me “Catwomen” and “The Village” won’t
    be runaway winners either.

Next question is from Tom in Forest Park, and he wants to know “Who
will win the Super Bowl?” Well Tom, don’t ask me, I had the 49ers and
the Dophins meeting in the big game. But, feel free to ask my friend
Dave……….I’m sure he thinks it will be the Padres and the 76ers.

We have time for one last question. Bill in the front what is your
question? What? I won’t repeat that question…………..he told me he
    was a chick, I swear……….and I didn’t even know about his
fetish…………thats it, this interview is over!

  • So, today is Martin Luther King Day. The last 3 compaines I have worked
for have had MLK day as a holiday, which I think is cool, but I hope
they aren’t doing it just to be PC. I have always felt that it was a
very important holiday, at least for me. He represented everything that
I have always believed and stood for. I feel we should make more of
this holiday, because it is a goal that we all should have, which is
everybody living together and whatnot. The NBA always makes a big deal
of MLK day, in fact the Bulls are playing right now, a rare weekday
game. Although it is a very hopeful day, its also a very sad day on
many respects. We have come so far, but still have a long way to go,
which is the frustrating part. If I could have one wish, it would be
that everybody, regardless of race, sex, age, sexual preference, or
religon got along and lived in peace. I know, I sound like a hippie,
but I guess I’m about 1/3 hippie. Why people should be pre-judged on
any of this has always been mind boggling to me. I do understand it
though. People get that way for several reasons, usually it was the way
they were raised, they had a bad experience with a certain kind and it
sours them, or its a fear of the unknown. I feel that if people got to
know or learn about others, we wouldn’t have all this overwhelming
hate. They would see that everybody is pretty much the same and not any
different. I saw a very powerful movie called “American History X”. I
feel its a movie everybody should see, so that they can learn how the
other half lives and becomes how they become, but things are not
hopeless and not powerless to change. I just wish there was something
more I could do besides just writing about it or donating to charities
and setting a good example, because all this hate is truely disgusting.
It sickens me. People should be hated based on their personality, not
for other things they can not change, such as race! Seriously, though,
I think if I were a judge, and somebody was convicted of a hate crime,
I think I would sentence them to learn more about the particular group
they have commited their crime against, as I feel learning about that
group is the best way to change them. Anywho, here is to MLK, I hope
someday his dream can at least come close to being a reality.

  • I watched Open Water tonight. Man, was that a good fucking movie.
Remind me to never be in that situation. Other than that, I didn’t do
much today. I watched football all day…………actually, I watched a
    lot of tv. How relaxing.

  • I saw this on Yahoo! Ok, this is just downright fucked up. Only the US military.

Pentagon Spurned Plan to Initiate Enemy Homosexuality

    By Jim Wolf

    WASHINGTON (Reuters) –

    The U.S. military rejected a 1994
proposal to develop an “aphrodisiac” to spur homosexual
activity among enemy troops but is hard at work on other
less-than-lethal weapons, defense officials said on Sunday.

The idea of fostering homosexuality among the enemy figured
    in a declassified six-year, $7.5 million request from a
laboratory at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio for
funding of non-lethal chemical weapon research.

The proposal, disclosed in response to a Freedom of
Information request, called for developing chemicals affecting
human behavior “so that discipline and morale in enemy units is
    adversely affected.”

“One distasteful but completely non-lethal example would be
strong aphrodisiacs, especially if the chemical also caused
homosexual behavior,” said the document, obtained by the
Sunshine Project. The watchdog group posted the partly
blacked-out, three-page document on its Web site.

Lt. Col. Barry Venable of the Army, a Defense Department
spokesman, said: “This suggestion arose essentially from a
brainstorming session, and it was rejected out of hand.”

The Air Force Research Laboratory also suggested using
chemicals that could be sprayed on enemy positions to attract
stinging and biting bugs, rodents and larger animals.

Another idea involved creating “severe and lasting
halitosis” to help sniff out fighters trying to blend with
    civilians.

The U.S. military remains committed to developing
less-than-lethal weapons that pass stringent legal reviews and
are consistent with international treaties, said Captain Dan
McSweeny of the Marine Corps, a spokesman for the Pentagon (newsweb sites) unit
    spearheading their introduction.

“We feel it’s very important to offer our deployed service
members and their commanders a greater range of options in
dealing with increasingly complex operational environments,”
said McSweeny, of the Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate.

  • Last night I went to the Johnson’s house for a mini game night. We
watched the football game waiting for Scooty to show up. He said he was
going to leave at halftime, but he didn’t show up until the game was
almost over. We started off by playing a movie game called “Scene it”.
I started off good, but eventually lost to Keith. Still it was a fun
game. We also decided at one point to order Pizza Hut. Man, I hate
pizza hut. Why did I have 2 pieces. It was awful. I really liked the
crust portion of the stuffed crust, but the rest of it was terrible.
    Geez…………….I’m  such a pizza snob………..on the other
hand, Pizza Hut really really really really sucks.

After that we played Clue. I haven’t played that game in years. Scooty
claimed he had not played in 20 years, but I could swear we played with
him a few years ago. Anywho, anybody ever notice that its always Mr
Green that is the killer? We played 2 games last night, and he did it
in both of them. I think if Oj really wanted to find the real killer,
he would start with Mr Green. Of course, everybody knows Oj is guilty
as sin, but one can see that Mr Green might have been involved in some
capacity.  Just look at Mr Green’s picture on the
card…………his face has guilty written all over it. And the thing
is, you know he will kill again. And yet, we are powerless to stop it.
