I started reading the Da Vinci Code today. I was suprised to find a
nude layout of Da Vinci in the middle of the book………….they
don’t tell you about that on the book cover. I’m about 60 pages into
it, and it seems pretty interesting, at least for a novel. I expect
work to be sorta slow next week, so if I don’t finish it by the end of
the week, I will finish it next week. If anybody has any books that I
might be interested in, please let me know, as I can’t afford to keep
buying books every week.I went shopping still searching for that movie I was looking for
yesterday. I had to go to Best Buy anyway, so I went to the one in
Joliet. They didn’t have it. I then decided to try Circuit City, which
was about my last chance, as if they didn’t have it there, I was just
about out of luck. I never realized how little of a selection of DVDs
they have. I was not having any luck, so I asked the worker kid for
help. He was ok looking……….seemed to have a nice body. We started
looking and were not having any luck. I told him to help some other
customers while I looked. He came back and we continued. After about 20
minutes, we finally found it. And, it was less money than I expected!I had to buy a gift card from Best Buy and thought of something that
would be funny………..at least, I would be ammused by it. Anywho,
Best Buy has their “if you find it cheaper somewhere else, we will give
you the difference” thing. I thought, it would be a funny thing to do
on a show (like Letterman or something like that) in which somebody
goes into a store like that and complains about how they got a gift
card for cheaper somewhere else and they now want the difference in
money. They would just sit there and irritate the shit out of the
workers. It would be classicI’m frustrated right now. I really want to find somebody, but I’m not
getting the responses. One guy I thought was interested in me (he asked
me out and gave me his number the first time we chatted) hasn’t
responded to my emails. I just saw such potential with him, we have so
much in common. A couple of other people that emailed me have not
responded to my response. I just want to find somebody. I want to wake
up next to somebody. I’m really looking forward to being with somebody
and taking road trips with him. And staying up too late talking to him
on the phone. I guess I’m just lonely right now. Everybody around me is
either with somebody or getting with somebody. Anywho, I don’t want to
make it sound like I’m whinning, so that is enough of my little
mini-bitchfest………..besides, I have to watch the rest of the Bulls
game.
