  • Yesterday afternoon, my fever peaked at 104. This worried me, as it got
this high after I had taken the ibprofrin. For a while there, I thought
that I was going to have to go to the ER. Fortunetly, it started to go
down and eventually my fever broke in the evening. This morning, I
downgraded from hurricane to tropical storm, or in people terms from
flu to massive cold. My throat still hurt like hell, though, so I had a
chocolate shake from Culver’s to sooth my aching throat. I was STARVING
this morning, as I have not had much to eat the past few days. I knew
once I got a good meal in me along with a nice shower, I would feel
much better. It worked, because right now, it is just like I’ve got a
    cold.

I have been reading Stephen King’s the Stand, which has made being sick
that much more uncomfortable. Normally I don’t real novels, but
Christie and I have long thought about exchanging books, so I gave her
America the book and she gave me the Stand. Of course, the stand is
like 800 pages long, whereas America is only about 240, but its ok, I
have plenty of time to read it at work.
