Ok, now this doesn’t make sense. My finger is hurting less then it did
before. Some of the swelling has gone down. Yet, the discoloring has
spread to my knuckle, pinky and palm. I am, however, still convinced it
is not broken. At this rate, though, the whole hand will be purple by
the end of the week. If it gets that bad, I will consider seeing a
doctor that is not a drunk friend of mine.Well, the Cubs have now won 5 straight and Steve Stone thinks they are
going to go to the playoffs………..but, then again, he has been
saying that the whole season. I think its important to remember that
they beat a struggling Dodgers team 2 games in a row and an AWFUL
Rockies team 3 in a row. Plus, they have a very very tough schedule
coming up in June, which is either going to make or break them. They
play the Padres, the Blue Jays (who have been much better than expected
this year) the Red Sox the Yankees, the White Sox, the Marlins and the
Brewers, who always seem to give them a hard time. Ask again in 30 days
if they will still go to the playoffs. The way I see it, if they can
make it out of June above 500, they might be sitting pretty. I’m going
to say they are going to have a bad month. They just aren’t nearly as
good as those teams they are playing this month, especially with all
the injuries they have had. As for tonight, they are starting a rookie
with a bad minor league record who has never even been to the bigs.
This game has loss written all over it.
