First off people, I have got a question on youthink.com, go here to vote on it

Faithful readers my remember this from a post I made a few weeks ago.
Well, Bush made his pick for the Supreme Court today. I have to be
honest, I know……..well, nothing about his nominee, just what I have
heard on CNN in the last hour or so. From what they are saying, we
liberals have a good reason to be worried. For starters, he is only 50
years old, which means that he can potentially serve a very long time.
A very long time. Like, 30 years or more. The most important issue to
me, obviously is gay rights, but I would be selfish if I thought that
was the country’s most important issue. The most important issue is,
without a doubt, abortion. Now, honestly, I don’t think it will be
overturned, but you never know. I can almost guarantee that Willam
Rhenquist will not survive Bush’s term, which means he will nominate
another justice. With 2 more conservatives on in the high court, that
makes abortion being overturned more likely. As for the issue myself, I
flip-flop on it. Both sides have very good points. The bottom line,
though, is that even if abortion is illegal, people will still have
them, and they will do it illegally, so that means they can do serious
harm to themselves. Overturning Roe Vs Wade makes no sense because of
that one reason. Its like alcohol. When we made that illegal, it didn’t
even come close to working. As for gay rights, with 2 more
conservatives on the bench, it gives us almost zero chance of being
able to marry anytime soon. I don’t see them taking away any rights we
already have, but you never know. Basically, this decision Bush made
today might very well affect many people’s lives for years and years to
come. This was one of Bush’s biggest decisions and another reason for
me not to like him…………..not that I was ever coming close to
running out of reasons not to like him.Someday, I want to write a book and call it “50 Different Ways to Flush a Toilet.”.
You know those Aflac commecials where they say “Ask at work about
Aflac.” Well, I asked at work today. I think a big problem with the
commercial is that it doesn’t specify who to ask. I walked right up to
the janitor and said “Hi. I’m supposed to ask about Aflac.” He looked
at me like I was speaking another language, which, I guess to him I
was, because he speaks Spanish. All praise to Holy Christ (you guys praise to him, I will just praise
to……..the guy that comes to fix it, since he is the one that is
actually fixing it, instead of the afore-mentioned Christ) that Sears
is coming out to fix the AC tomorrow!!! WOOOOOOHOOOO!!!I’m upset because I found out that our local Bob Evans closed! We used
to always go there for Christmas Eve breakfast every year, and now we
have to find a new place. They had the best sausage and biscuits and
gravy around. I think we will just start going to Cracker Barrel from
now on.I chatted with Ty (or is it Tyler?) from Xanga the other night. Seems
like a cool guy, too bad his is a few hours away, and thats by plane,
which I hate to use. He is only the second person from Xanga that I
have ever chatted with, so if anybody else ever wants to chat, feel
free to “hit me up” as the kids say.

I was going to suggest Cracker Barrel – it’s my favorite place when I’m on the road.
