I'm going to try my best not to ruin the end of the Sopranos, but I do have to at least write about it. Then again, it has been all over the radio, tv, internet and in all of the papers. It was a seminal moment in pop culture history and the ending to an American classic. And like many people, I'm left baffled by the ending. I'm also confused as to how I felt about the ending. Overall, I guess I'm a little disappointed. Then again, it was totally 100% unexpected, which is really cool and a big part of the Sopranos charm. Some people say the Sopranos was the greatest tv show in history, well I don't know if that is true, I do know it was among the greatest ever and among my favorites, at least top 3 for me personally. Much like the show itself, love it or hate it, there was never an ending quite like the Sopranos finale. Of course, there was so much hype and excitement leading up to it, much like the last episode of Seinfeld, it was almost impossible to live up to. The whole week leading up to it, I had a sense of excitement and you could sense there was something in the air.................at least among us fans of the show. The whole time the finale was on, I kept having to remind myself that this was it. Yet, you would never know it, seeing as they seemed to leave so many storylines up in the air. And I for one keep flip flopping. I'm pretty sure I liked it, but was it good? Was it a brilliant ending or was it a total disappointment? I kind of think of the Sopranos as a form of art and like most art, it is not meant to be understood. And to add to the confusion, there is great beauty in the final scene in that it leaves the ending up to each viewer, which I deeply loved, but also hated as well because we are left to question "Huh?" I can honestly say that going into the finale, I had no idea what to expect, I really thought anything could happen. That is part of the appeal of the Sopranos. Also, it really sucked that "Don't Stop Believin'" was not only the final song on the Sopranos, but also the very last thing you heard, as no music ran over the credits. As you know, I hate that song because it reminds me of the White Sox. Maybe now it will remind me of the Sopranos. It better, I have had the song stuck in my head all damn day long. Nevertheless, I'm really gonna miss the show. Every Sunday seemed to be an event. I guess I will just have to get all of the seasons on dvd, perhaps they can shed some light on the ending. I guess great performers usually go out on top, leaving fans craving more. I think that is is safe to say that for.........

I actually liked the ending. It leaves a lot up in the air and we can draw our own conclusions. I am annoyed with my bro and Ralph's sisters. They want their misery to matter more than our happiness (not even over the top happiness) at getting married.
i was disappointed something didn't happen.......
