  • Why does it seem like every few months there is one of those days in which everything is happening and all of a sudden, I become a proponent of human cloning? Take today for example. For starters, there is Mark's annual bbq the Saturday before the 4th of July. Of course, being summer, there are all sorts of fests and concerts going on. At Ribfest in Naperville there is one of my all time favorites, George Thorogood. Also up in some place in Palatine is the Violent Femmes. Then there is a charity poker tournament that I was invited to. The Cubs are playing a HUGE series against the Brewers, which I will be able to catch only some of instead of all of it at Mark's house. To top it off, there is also the Taste of Chicago, which, although is going on for 10 days, we are still going to have a tough time making it down there.
