  • The big news over the course of the past couple of weeks was the big ass bailout that Congress and the president gave Wall Street. Of course a lot of people rightfully mentioned that we would be able to afford the bailout more if we were not in Iraq. But one thing I think everybody has over looked was the economic stimulus package that was passed earlier this year. I said it then that the rebate was bullshit and we never should have got it and agree even more now. First of all its obvious the damn thing didn't work. And now, we are even worse off than before and need to spend more money to help try to get ourselves out of this mess. And I'm not saying one side is more to blame than the other as both Republicans and Democrats fucked this one up. We would have more money to work with and the national debt would not be as bad as it is if we had not gotten that refund.  But all I'm asking is for people to remember that refund they got earlier this year and ask them if it was worth it.
