Impotence
I swear, there just about nothing as frustrating as politics. And honesty, it doesn’t matter if you are a Republican or a Democrat, both parties seem to always let their bases down and the only time each party is happy is when the opposite party is in the shitter. And both sides seem to only want to do good to fuck up the other side.
As you might know, there was a special election held in Massachusetts yesterday to fill Ted Kennedy’s seat due to him kickin it old school. Well the unimaginable happened, a Republican actually won a former Kennedy seat. This means that the Democrats will no longer have a “supermajority” in the Senate, which means the Republicans can potentially block any of the bills the Dems want to pass, including the health care bill. I’m still struggling to understand how a party that is this much in the minority could hold the power to control legislation. If I remember correctly, (and please correct me if I’m wrong) the Democrats somehow changed the whole filibuster process when Bush was in office to allow them to prevent him from passing certain bills. Of course, somehow, Bush still managed to get things done, even if the things he got done were awful.
But, the potential and very probable failure of the health care bill is 100% the fault of the Democrats. I’m totally livid with them at this point. They had a year to get a damn bill passed with the biggest majority they have had in Congress since 1923 and still couldn’t do it. They are just so inept and impotent with power, oh, and also pussies. They could have had this whole thing passed 6 months ago if they weren’t such pussies. Its why I stop short of calling myself a Democrat, instead I always refer to myself as a liberal.
But this whole thing is so damn disheartening. Honestly, what the fuck is wrong with this damn political party? And its not like I’m going to support the other side, that would be nuts. Its hard to say which party does more damage, the do nothing Democrats or the clusterfuck Republicans. Either way, they both fuckin suck, I can not stress this enough. If you ask me, there needs to be a fucking serious reform of the whole political system. I would love to go into more details about it now, but hell, I’m too damn pissed and have other more important shit to do.

This is what I was saying like…months ago: both sides suck.
ive never denied that the democrats suck, ive just always said (and still believe) that they are not nearly as bad as the republicans.
